Great food value and service
We have always enjoyed the carvery here but after last Sunday we won't be returning, don't know what has changed here but something defenatly has, the food was not good, the meat looked cheap and nasty and the gravy was not home made it tasted like bristol, very disappointing! !
This is a place to go if you love live bands and the atmosphere that comes with it. On the whole the people who go here are very friendly. There's lots of dancing and socialising to be had at this venue
We wanted an impromptu overnight stay and had a fab time at the Ambassador. Large ensuite room, lovely comfy bed, great food (dinner and breakfast) it was "just the ticket". The staff were very helpful and very friendly. There was a live band and the entertainment and atmosphere made it a brilliant night. Lovely wine! Good location and parking. The hotel has lovely period features and quirky seating on the first floor landing. We were made really welcome. Would definitely go back especially when they had another live band playing! Marilyn M
Fab food, staff, entertainment, drinks choice. Super comfy bed, large room, huge bathroom. Great atmosphere. We spent only 1 night there, as we're meeting local friends, but we will definitely be returning when ever we can.
